Bugg Goninon Insurance Brokers sponsor a wide array of sporting clubs and community groups within Tasmania. Bugg Goninon sees the importance of investing in those groups who help others and add value to our local community. Below is a list of some of the groups we sponsor.

 

South Launceston Football Club

The South Launceston Football Club is one of ten clubs that make up AFL Tasmania’s State league.  The Club has in excess of 300 players from various age groups. This year Bugg Goninon is the major sponsor for the Club which has roots that go back as far as 1879.  In 2011 the Bulldogs, as the club is known, have some fresh board members and some new staff.

 


PR and Friends

PR and Friends Inc. are an independent, non profit charity organization that has been operating successfully since 1992. Originally based in Exeter it is now operating from Launceston Tasmania.    The Charity aims to assist children and guardians and protect the physical and emotional wellbeing    of the child. The group is made up of volunteers and all monies raised go to those in need.

 


Callum Mitchell Racing

Callum commenced racing in July 2007 and since then he had a great deal of success. In his first full year with the club he won the 2008 Launceston Kart Club Presidents award for juniors, which is awarded to recognize junior drivers with the most potential. In 2009 Callum won the Launceston Kart Club Junior Club Person of the year.

Callum was invited to be part of the Formula Ford racing and now competes in this event with the aim of further developing his racing career.

 

He is highly committed to racing attending all committee meetings and all club functions and strives to promote the sport at every opportunity. His aim is to go as far as he can with his motor sport career.

 


Fay Denholm Athletics

Fay Denholm Track Team consists of 14 'stable' runners registered with Tasmanian Athletic League to compete in events held throughout the state during months October to March.

The season highlight is the annual major Christmas carnival series 'spikes and bikes' held in Rosebery, Latrobe on Boxing Day, Devonport, Burnie on New Years Day, New Town and St. Helens.

The Christmas series attracts a large following of spectators and several interstate stars.

 


 Tasmanian Forest Contractors Association (TFCA)

Exclusively representing the interests of Tasmania’s diverse network of forest contractors, the Tasmanian Forest Contractors Association are involved at all levels of industry and government ensuring that the collective voice of the harvest, haulage, silviculture, site preparation, roading and quarry contractors are at the forefront of decision making.

In addition, the TFCA offer individual business support services such as industrial relations advice, training, Safety Management System implementation, benchmarking, rate calculations and contract representation to our members.
